Found this little gem while scouting out a location on Lake Rabun. Beautiful how the water magnifies the veins of the leaf.

Hummingbirds

I spent some time with the hummingbirds in the backyard the other day. We probably have about 15 or so. Those little buggers are quick. Probably shot 150+ images in about an hour. I think this one is the best of the bunch. He is an older male who wanted all the attention to himself. Kept scaring off all the others while I was out there with the camera. Enjoy!

FocalPoint was last Thursday. I was able to play around at Big Studios in King Plow with the new H4D 40 from Hasselblad. Using the H4D with the Broncolor 10′ parabolic reflector was really eye opening. The quality on the H4D is amazing! Here are a few shots from the event.
